The number seven pays homage to cinema as the 7th art form of the world; the medium by which we craft thought-provoking, human-centric stories that resonate deeply with viewers worldwide.

The logo concept was sought to capture the essence of the seventh phase of the moon, with only the left side illuminated, paired with the number seven.

Moon7 is a passionate advocate for sustainability within the film industry. Supported by the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA), they've actively campaigned at provincial parliament for environmentally friendly practices in British Columbia's film scene.
In 2022, Moon7 partnered with Teralta to become one of the first production companies in the world to utilize a clean hydrogen generator to power an entire film set. The success of their beta test is paving the way for a future powered by clean energy. Beyond championing hydrogen technology, Moon7 prioritizes crew well-being and sustainable practices. Their core values include creating improved work conditions and hours for their crews, and fostering a film industry that leaves a positive impact on the environment.
This successful beta test is just the beginning. Moon7's ultimate goal is to power a feature film, entirely with clean hydrogen power - a world first! They're working closely with Teralta to refine the technology based on the beta's learnings. They're also actively collaborating with unions, rental companies, and other stakeholders to explore wider adoption of hydrogen power throughout the industry. Additionally, Moon7 is planning demo days to provide hands-on experience with the technology for film professionals, fostering broader understanding of its benefits.
